Partnering to Build
a Legacy—Not Just a Transaction
Partnering to Build a Legacy—Not Just a Transaction
A Message to Owners from Daniel Currin, CEO, Green Leaf Group
If you’ve built a respected landscape company with a strong team and a brand your clients trust, this message is for you.
I know the weight you carry as an owner. You’ve put in the years, the sweat, the weekends. You’ve built something that matters to your clients, your people, and your family. At Green Leaf Group, we understand that what you’ve built is more than a business; it’s a legacy.
Now, as you look toward the future, you may be asking the big questions:
- How do I keep growing without burning out?
- How do I create long-term wealth while taking care of my team?
- What’s next and how do I get there without selling out or losing what makes us special?
I’ve asked these same questions. That’s why Green Leaf Group exists.
There’s Another Way
We’re not private equity. We’re not a roll-up shop. We’re a community of owner-operators who believe that together, we can build something greater, without giving up our identity or values.
When you join us, you keep your role, your team, and your brand, but gain the support, systems, and strength of a larger, family-backed platform built for growth:
- Shared Equity, Shared Future: Become a true partner and share in the value we create together—not just a seller walking away.
- Real Support to Scale: Access the sales engine, talent acquisition, technology, and systems you need to break through growth barriers and accelerate success.
- Culture-Led Growth: Join a community that values people, quality, and trust—where only owners who share our core values become partners.
Why Now? (Don’t Miss Out)
The landscape industry is at a turning point. Owners who partner early will help set the direction, shape the culture, and capture the greatest upside as we grow. Waiting may mean missing your chance to be a foundational leader, not just a participant.
- Early partners have the biggest voice and the most impact.
- The opportunity to shape the future closes as the platform grows.
- Equity and leadership opportunities are greatest at the beginning.
You only get one shot to help build something at the beginning. Let’s make history together.
Who We're Looking For
You might be the right fit if you…
- Lead with Vision and Legacy: You have bold dreams for your company and your people. You want to see what you’ve built grow, thrive, and matter now and into the next generation.
- Invest in Culture and People: You know business is about people, not just profits. You live values like communication, learning, appreciation, teamwork, and safety, and you believe in investing in your team’s growth through professional development, recognition, and shared success.
- Seek Real Partnership: You want more than a transaction. You’re looking for a community of like-minded owner-operators who support, challenge, and celebrate each other, all while building something greater together.
- Believe in Systems for Growth: You see the power of a proven operating system, like EOS, to bring clarity, discipline, and accountability to your business. You’re ready to embrace structured processes that help good people do great things.
- Embrace Innovation: You view technology, software, and new tools as opportunities to empower your team, better serve your clients, and build for the future.
If you’re a visionary leader with a heart for your people and a drive to build something lasting, Green Leaf Group could be the home you’ve been searching for.
The Future We’re Building Together

Frequently Asked Questions
So, what does it actually mean to “partner” with Green Leaf Group?
You’re not selling your business; you’re joining our group as an owner. You keep your brand, your team, and your leadership role. You get to grow with us and own a piece of something even bigger, while honoring the legacy you’ve built.
What happens to my people, my brand, and my clients?
Your team, your local culture, and your client relationships continue forward, they’re what make your business special. Our goal is to give you more resources to help those things thrive and grow, while supporting what makes your business unique.
What’s the process if I’m interested in talking?
Simple. We start with a private, owner-to-owner conversation—no pressure, no sales pitch. If it feels like a fit, we’ll work together on the right terms and transition plan for you. Every deal is tailored, and you’re always in the loop.
Do I have to sell 100% of my business? How does the money work?
You’re trading your business’s equity value, based on a fair market valuation, for the same value in Green Leaf Group equity. You retain everything you’ve built, and your equity becomes worth more right away as part of a larger group. If you want to take some cash out up front and roll the rest into GLG, we’ll work with you to make that happen.
If I join, how long until I can cash out some (or all) of my equity?
We plan for equity events every 3–5 years, so you’ll have regular opportunities to access liquidity based on your personal goals and timeline. You’re never locked in; you’ll always have options.
Can I talk to someone who’s already done this?
Absolutely. We encourage it. We’ll connect you directly with another owner who’s already partnered with us, so you can hear their story and get honest answers from someone who’s been in your shoes.
